Uwabor was rewarded with a return flight ticket to Dubai on Business Class. Playing handicap 16, Uwabor grossed 193 and 161 net in the one week tournament which featured Amateur, Ladies and Guests categories displaying their golf artistries.

In the male category 2, Nwike Ogbonna of Makurdi Golf Club won the best Net playing Handicap 9 with a total Gross of 168 and 140 Net.
Mrs. Margaret Atu of UBTH Golf Course won the nearest to the PIN while Gabriel Okpunor of IGCC won the longest Drive in the men category.
Reverend (MRS.) Omatshola Williams won the Best Net Veteran Category playing Handicap 27 as she secured gross 234 and 180 net.
The Captain of the Ibori Golf and Country club, Hon (Barr) Daniel Mayuku described the One week golfing fiesta as a huge success. He assured other golfers that efforts are in top gear to create new bonkers and holes and expand the greens to improve the standard of the game.
Mayuku also thanked Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for his unfettered support to the development of Golf in the state.
He advised youths to shun violence and idleness while encouraging them to try their hands in golf for a better future as well as calling on corporate organisations and government to commit more resources to golf.
Nigeria Number one Golfer, Amos Koblar of Ghana had earlier won the professional Category of the first Delta Open Golf Tourney last week.
