The Serbian trainer was interviewed last week when the Ghana federation was in search of a technical advisor.

But with the dismissal of Kwesi Appiah, the Ghana FA halted the process and decided to accept applications from prospective candidates.
He handled the Black Stars between 2008-2010 and led them to reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa four years ago.
Switzerland assistant national team coach Michel Pont is among the high-profile names who have applied.
He was assistant coach at Swiss top-flight side Servette FC.
Englishman Bobby Davidson, youth team coach of Crystal Palace, and Portuguese Jose Alberto Barosso have all applied.
The rest are former Medeama and King Faisal coach Carlos Alberto Paulette from Peru and German Peter Obermeyer.
Former Pakistan coach Zavisa Milosavljevic from Serbia is on the list.
The deadline for the submission of letter is Friday, 19 September after which a qualified candidate will be named.
