Mba leads out referees for CHAN

Nigeria gets set for a third qualification attempt at the African Nations Cup Championship for Home based national teams, CAF has also appointed other Nigerians to be on duty.

NFF Referees Consultant Linus Mba is off to Bamako where he will function as Match Commissioner for the match between Mali and Guinea.

The referees for the match are from Burkina Faso led by Zio Juste Ephrem. Also, Nigerian referees have been appointed for the encounter involving Burkina Faso and Niger in Ouagadougou. Amao Joshua Opeyemi will be assisted by Edibi Peter and Baba Abe, while Ango Abubakar is the designated fourth official.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation has written to replace Peter Edibi with Tope Orowole, since Edibi is in Turkey for the FIFA junior World Cup.

The Nigerian referees will have Guinean Bangoura Ali as match Commissioner.
