By Emman Ovuakporie

ABUJA- MEMBERS of the House of Representatives, Wednesday, unanimously voted for the immediate take over of the Rivers State House of  Assembly  by the National Assembly.

Relying heavily on Section 11 sub section 4 of the 1999 constitution, members of the Green Chamber sacked the state legislature pending when all issues that led to the fracas in the House on Monday are amicably settled.

Also, the House directed the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar to immediately re-deploy the Rivers Commissioner of Police, Mr Christopher Mbu  for dereliction of duty.
