Rowdy session in Senate over Rivers Assembly crisis

*As  Senate fails in motion to redeploy police commissioner

ABUJA - THE Senate was Wednesday thrown into a state of anomie following the political crisis in Rivers state, just as the Senators were divided over the crisis.

The crisis which has  engulfed the polity in Rivers State, it would be recalled has  brought activities at the State House of Assembly to a halt in the last few hours.

The session was  rowdy as  Senators t expressed divergent opinions  on how to resolve the conflict between Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the Rivers state Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mbu.
